Advanced Design Technologies Ltd, a private company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), number 12718, at IH-00-01-03-OF-05, Level 3, Innovation One, Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, runs uberdesigner and is responsible for your personal data. We follow the DIFC Data Protection Law (DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020) and, for people in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, the GDPR and its UK and Swiss equivalents. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
what we collect
- Account: your email, your name, your profile picture if you sign in with Google, where you heard about us, the site or campaign that first brought you here (if analytics is on), whether you want emails about new templates, and your privacy choices.
- Usage: which templates you take (prompt, project or Figma file) and when, with a hashed IP address and your browser's user agent. We use this for daily limits, your history, popularity and spotting shared accounts. Every prompt you copy carries an invisible identifier linked to your account, so prompts shared publicly can be traced.
- Payments: handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. We don't see your card. Paddle tells us your plan, its status, the amounts and the country you were billed in.
- Messages: what you write to us at support.
- Analytics (if on): which version of the home page you see and how the site is used (pages, clicks, sign-ups, purchases).
- Ads (if on): the Meta Pixel records the pages you visit, your sign-up and purchases in your browser, and our server sends your sign-up and first purchase to Meta with your email address in hashed form. This lets us measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested.
- Errors: technical details when something breaks.
why
- To run your account and plan and give you the templates you take (our contract with you).
- To keep the service secure, apply limits, prevent abuse and fix errors (our legitimate interest).
- To email you about new templates, only if you opted in (your consent, which you can withdraw anytime).
- Analytics and ads: in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, only with your consent. Elsewhere, our legitimate interest in measuring and promoting uberdesigner, and you can turn both off anytime.
cookies
- Essential, always on: our sign-in cookies (sb-…) keep you signed in; ud_consent remembers your privacy choices. Your browser's session storage remembers the library pages you loaded and the action you started before signing in. Paddle may set its own cookies when you open checkout.
- Analytics: ud_home (which home page version you see, 1 year), ud_source (the site or campaign that first brought you, 90 days) and an analytics cookie (ph_…).
- Ads: Meta's _fbp and _fbc cookies (90 days), set by the Meta Pixel.
your choices
- In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, a bar asks you before any analytics or ads cookie is set. Rejecting keeps only the essential ones.
- Everywhere, "privacy choices" at the bottom of every page turns analytics and ads on or off. When you're signed in, your choice is saved to your account.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as turning ads off.
- We don't sell your personal data for money. Under some US state laws, sending data to Meta for ads counts as "sharing" or "targeted advertising"; the choices above are how you opt out of it.
who receives it
Service providers that process data only on our instructions: hosting and file storage, database and sign-in, email delivery, analytics, and error tracking. Write to us and we'll tell you who they are. Paddle handles payments and tax as merchant of record and is responsible for the payment data it collects (Paddle's privacy policy). If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. For ads, Meta and we are jointly responsible for collecting and sending the data described above; what Meta does with it afterwards is covered by Meta's privacy policy.
Some of them process data outside your country, including in the United States. We rely on safeguards recognised by the DIFC Data Protection Law and the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.
how long we keep it
Account data for as long as your account exists. Usage history is anonymised when you delete your account. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Cookies last as listed above.
your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, object to or restrict how we use it, take it with you, or withdraw your consent, by writing to support@uberdesigner.ai from the email on your account. We answer within 30 days. You can turn marketing emails off anytime in your account.
If you think we've mishandled your data, you can complain to the DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection, or to the data protection authority where you live.
children
uberdesigner is for people 16 and older. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we delete it.
changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters, we email account holders before it applies.
