A one-page promo site for a Cape Town shark-tracking lab launching a public live map. The page is a pinned stage, and scrolling is a dive from 000 to 200 m: the sea goes from a grey-blue surface with caustic ripples to the black abyss, while a dot field and marine snow drift past. A live ASCII shark, drawn on canvas with a soft glow, swims under the dotted headline and chases the pointer. A 2 × 2 hairline grid splits the window into four quadrants, and the shark prints itself in a different glyph mode in each one, glitching as it crosses. A depth gauge counts the metres and rolls the zone name from Epipelagic to Mesopelagic. The first screen opens with a staged intro and blurs away line by line; at the bottom of the dive the second screen builds itself piece by piece: headline, story, a button, the shark's last ping and a partner row.
