lens switch
freeThe prompt is free with an account: sign up with Google or email, and your copy starts right after. The project and Figma file come with monthly or yearly.
A light switch made of glass on a dark stage: a frosted track with engraved ticks and a solid glass sphere for a knob. The sphere works as a real magnifying lens, so the ticks and marks under it swell in its middle and squeeze towards its rim, meeting the track at the edge. Switch it on and the knob springs across, squashing at speed while its magnification ripples like liquid; a thin warm filament flickers on inside the track and glows through the frost, the nearby ticks catch the light and fade with distance, the rim warms and a caustic crescent lights the sphere's lower edge. Click anywhere or press Space to toggle, move the pointer to tilt it in 3D and shift the highlights; left alone, it switches itself on and off in a loop. No images and no fonts: everything is CSS and one small SVG, on a square stage that scales to fit any screen.
