A restaurant website for a small trattoria in Trastevere, laid out as its own daily paper on a dark table. The front page draws itself in black line work: masthead, columns, today's specials and the trattoria's façade with its awning, laundry line, lemon trees and a waiter waving from the door, then the street keeps moving. Turn the dog-eared corner and the paper opens: the camera pulls back to the spread and settles on page 3, inside the restaurant, which draws itself too. Marco the waiter greets you in a speech bubble typed out in handwriting, with six category tiles; a menu card rises with each category, the dishes you add land on a torn order ticket that adds up the total, and when you send it to the kitchen the ticket is stamped and Marco walks off with it and comes back. Page 2 tells the story and shows the map, and a booking card picks the day, time and table size. A phone edition turns each page into a scrolling sheet with the same page turn.
