receipt study

An interactive WebGL study of a crumpled thermal receipt from a small general store, lying on a dark desk under a soft light. Press and drag across it and the paper flattens under a ring cursor, spreading outward like real paper while smoothed patches keep soft edges; once most of it is smooth it lets go, settles flat, turns straight and the view glides to its torn top edge. Scroll or use the arrow keys to read the whole receipt: header, date and terminal, eighteen grocery and home items, totals with VAT, card payment, a barcode and a thank-you. The lower half has faded the way old thermal paper does, with blotches and a worn print-head stripe: press and hold and a warm glow brings the ink back for good where you hold. Double-click or press C to crumple it again, with new random folds and faint creases left from the last ones. The receipt is printed live onto a canvas texture in IBM Plex Mono from editable copy, the paper is a deformable mesh with procedural folds, and light, shadow, age fade and heat are worked out in its shader. On phones a finger smooths it, drags to scroll and holds to warm, and a double-tap crumples it. ?seed= fixes the folds, ?z= scales the scene.
