A motion piece of a boarding pass that keeps working after check-in. A warm paper pass for the airline larkway, flight ND 214 from Copenhagen (CPH) to Osaka (KIX), floats in 3D on a dark stage over a soft floor shadow, swaying gently, with fine grain and real ticket notches cut by CSS masks. One 14-second loop plays by itself. The pass turns into view, its six fields rise in one by one and the stacked barcode on the stub prints in. Then the gate changes: B12 is struck through and dims, C07 drops in from a blur in signal orange, and the green "On time" chip blurs into an orange "Gate changed · 6 min walk". The stub is pulled down along the perforation and torn off; it falls away turning while the pass jolts and recentres. The pass then turns from paper to night: its content dips through a blur, the paper goes dark, an orange glow rises behind it and the corner word changes to "Live flight". It is now a live flight card: the route draws itself as an arc from departure to arrival, the plane flies along it nose first, and altitude, speed and remaining time count up to 11,280 m, 862 km/h and 9h 12m. Geist carries the data, with huge airport codes, and Instrument Serif italic the city names. Everything is a pure function of time on a 1080 × 1080 stage that scales to fit any window, fits the pass across on portrait screens, starts at any second with #t= in the URL and shows a still with reduced motion.
